Crushed!!

Saturday was a heck of day. A tree fell on my house.. I know..I know. What?? But seriously a 75 foot tree fell on my house and a 25 ft section is still on my roof!! What the Hell. I cleaned up all that I could but I can't get the big part off the roof. I still need to replace a few boards in my fence that were destroyed but for the most part we avoided one hell of a much worse scenario. I will upload some pictures later.. not to mention a 30 foot part of my own tree broke off and crashed into my fence on the OTHER side of property bashing that fence too.....

Two Posts in the same day!!! Say it ain't so!

A couple of weeks ago I went to a buddies Birthday party and sat in with a band called Fall of Troy. Fall of Troy just got off tour with Kid Rock and is getting ready for a European tour next. They have a song on Guitar Hero. We played about 5 songs together. Everything form, Fever, Santeria, and then Lollipop by Lil Wayne. Pretty fun stuff and a blast to play with talent. The singer is really talented and he has a great vocal range. He pulled off Jazz as easily as he pulled of hip hop!! Anyways I think they got a blackmail photo of me doing a Keg stand....

ooops! Oh well there can always be worse things!

Ok..Ok. I am not sure what the deal is but I finally have lost my mind. I accepted a position as a Drummer in a local band here in Seattle. It's been YEARS since I played shows out. It should be a lot of fun. The band has a pretty big local following and has lots of shows lined up. They heard about me from people who have seen me play at my house while drinking. Apparently I made an impact and they talked me up to the band. I met the Guitarist about 6 months ago and he said he was really interested in getting me involved. Recently they found out they were losing there drummer and my friends have made it their mission to get us hooked up. They offered me the job based purely on reputation....kind of cool. They play classic rock and song from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and even a couple of country songs. Honestly, probably about 90 songs on the base song list and the ability to play about almost anything requested. Sounds like my kind of gig! Stay tuned for updates!

thinking....

It's pretty late and my mind is wandering. I find my self thinking about people who have touched my life. I find myself thinking,.......... wondering If I am the only one who remembers all the details. I remember the time, the weather, the the smells, the emotions of each moment. It is what shapes my life and what drives me. I continue to dream and wonder If I am living.........

What a bit of rambling this is...... I am very limited in what I can and should type. I have no idea why sometimes, very late at night, I feel so intense and vividly relive previous experiences in my mind. I sometimes think I live two completely separate lives.

I have been blessed to know amazing people who make me soooooooooo very proud and happy.

How can we go about our daily lives acting like superheros when we are loaded down by so much that we know and so much we feel......

...anyhow, I am simply writing to try and be better at keeping my lonely page moving. I truly would write more If I felt what I was writing to an exclusive audience. But being such a world famous person as I am, It's hard to tell....

Sad...

Well Yesterday Was a pretty sad day overall..... Dusty our cat Passed away after 17+ years as the Best animal we have ever had.... We let her go in the afternoon and helped her on her new journey. Things are pretty drab here and expect it to be so for a few days. She will be greatly missed.

Olympics

Ok, So I am 10000% addicted. I am up day and NIght watching every scrap of olympics I can get... It's being called an addiction similar to Crack. I find myself up at 4 AM to watch Basketball, I am awake at 2 AM for ZVolleyball and Soccer, I am ALWAYS available for Swimming... Track and Field... I may never leave the house. How can I get over this.....

Oh well, I never will. I am stuck!! Some cool pics!

Mill Creek Festival

Well we had our annual Mill Creek Festival this weekend and It really went well. It was a LONG event for sure. We started with setup at 6:30 Am on Ssaturday Morning and finished the first day at 6 PM in the sun talking to hundreds of people. We had out booth decked out with give aways and a prize wheel. We also had a special appearance from Spiderman where people could take pictures with him and get a print for free. Now to make things more entertaining We were next to a Farmers Insurance booth. All of the agents were pretty cool. One of the agents made a really funny comment. He said we destroyed them with out prize wheel and spiderman..... that just wasn;t even fair... Any ways We have a lot of people we need to call and lots of business to write. I can;t wait to see some results.

4th of July

Well the 4th was an relaxing day. We had a great time shooting off fireworks and BBQ'n! I had some good 'ol fun particpating in the annual Volleyball tournament. Our team was able to come back and win the last 2 rounds of volleyball to clinch the title..... always a good time. We met a bunch ofreally nice people and a guy who is interested in having me fill in for his band when his drummer goes on a motorcycle ride later in the summer. Now that could be a blast. It was also great to catch up with a bunch of friends who we haven;t seen in a long time. WOW! Anyways.

For all the brave soldiers out there serving our country. I admire you more then you know. This country is luck to have the finest people defending it. We would be nothing without you!
